                                                                                       Spiced Egg Nog Pound Cake

 

1 cp. butter softened

3 cps. sugar

6 large eggs

3 cps sifted flour

3/4 tsp.baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt

1 cp. Christiansen's Dairy egg nog

2 tsp. vanilla extract

2 tbl. spoon Brandy (optional)

1 tsp. cinnamon

3/4 tsp. ground allspice

1 cp. powdered sugar

2 tbls. plus 1 tsp. Christiansen's Dairy whipping cream ( heavy cream whipped)

Genoruosly grease and flour a 12 cup Bundt pan; set aside.

Beat butter at medium speed with electric mixer (about 2 minutes) or until creamy. Gradually add sugar,Beating 5-7 minutes. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating just till yellow disappears.

Combine flour, baking powder,and salt. Add to butter mixture, alternately with Christiansen's Egg Nog, begining and ending with flour mixture. Beat at low speed just until blended after each addition,stir in vanilla and brandy.

Pour half of batter into pepared pan.Stir next 3 ingredientsinto remaing batter. Spoon rest of batter into pan with cinnamon and allspice. Then swirl.

Bake at 350 for 50 -55 minutes or until toothpick is clean. Cool on wire rack. Place cake on dish.Mix  . whipped cram and powdered sugar. Drizzle over cooled caked .
